Bookclub
A bookclub meets at the bookshop on the first Thursday of every month. The evening starts at 6.00pm with pizza or soup, wine, chocolate cake or home-made pudding and coffee and then the discussion starts at 7.00pm. We normally finish before 9pm
On 1 March the book to be discussed will be Jenny Erpenbeck, Visitation

Book Launches and Signings
On the 27 October 2011 Phil Burton read poems from his collection Too Young to Forget and answered questions from the enthusiast audience
On Saturday 2 October 2010 Jane Eagland signed copies of her new novel, Whisper My Name
Previously Rob Williams had launched his book Luke and Jon on the 17 June 2010. Robert spoke of the publishing process, read from his book, answered questions and signed copies of his book. The shop was full to bursting and the evening moving, funny and enlightening.

Copies of Here is Where the Candy Sticks (the Shop project anthology), the Leigh Morrissey Poetry Anthology Slip Through the Silence, Clitheroe Writing Group's 2009 anthology Hard Lines, Traces and pamphlets from the 2008 readings onwards are available in the shop.
